Fillers from the Swiss company Merz Aesthetics are manufactured using Dynamic Cross-Linking Technology, which produces a single-phase, cohesive, multi-compacted gel (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix). The result is products with the right balance of cohesiveness, elasticity and plasticity that adapt to the relevant skin layers. The formulations have an appropriate safety profile and lower pain levels at the injection site. The Belotero range was approved by the FDA in 2011.
The three main advantages of Belotero products are that the product integrates with the skin, the product remains at the injection site and the product is resistant to external forces (pressure). This technology provides the opportunity to produce products with different characteristics depending on the needs of the targeted skin layer.
Belotero Lips Contour with Lidocaine is a lipcontouring product. The gel makes the procedure comfortable for patients and produces natural results. The two lip contouring products in the Belotero line make it possible for the treatment provider to better customize the procedure for each patient.
