Fillers from the Swiss company Merz Aesthetics are manufactured using Dynamic Cross-Linking Technology, which produces a single-phase, cohesive, multi-compounded gel (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix). The result is products with the right balance of cohesiveness, elasticity and plasticity that adapt to the relevant skin layers. The formulations have an adequate safety profile and an overall lower level of pain at the injection site. The Belotero range was approved by the FDA in 2011.
The three main advantages of Belotero products are that the product integrates with the skin, the product remains at the injection site and the product is resistant to external forces (pressure).
